Average and Total Rows on Data Visualizations
Within the table view of Data Visualizations, there is now a summary row. You have the option of selecting either Average or Total, which is computed automatically based on the table’s contents.
In a column, click the AVERAGE drop-down menu. Then in the Column Aggregate window, click one of the following:
Time Unit Conversion
In a previous update, the Data Visualizations and Data Tables were enhanced to let you convert the display units of Cycle Time fields from milliseconds to seconds, minutes, or hours.
With this additional product update, you can now convert any data field that represents an amount of time, such as the duration of a process or a stage within a cycle. You can make your selection from the drop-down menu in the column.
To configure this feature, access the relevant Machine Type, locate the relevant statistic, and then do the following in the Configuration window:
- Add or verify that analytics.columns.type = float.
- Add or verify that formatting.is_convertible = true.
- Make sure that unit is not empty, and that it is set to the stored units of the field. Acceptable time units include:
- 'milliseconds', 'millisecond', 'ms'
- 'seconds', 'second', 'sec', 's',
- 'minutes', 'minute', 'min', 'm'
- 'hours', 'hour', 'hr', 'h'
The following is an example configuration:
The display format of timestamps in the Sight Machine platform is now fully configurable.
In addition, if you did not provide an override, the default formatting has been updated to yyyy-mm-dd HH:mm:ss. That is, the time offset (e.g., +10:30) has been removed. The Time Zone is still presented in the Date Range menu.
