Overview of Changes
|Calendar|| Changes have been made to the Date Range selector. The Live Data checkbox has been replaced with a simple two-option drop-down list. The options are:

|AI Data Pipeline|| A given Machine Type can now contribute data to multiple Part Types, enabling you to model traceability at multiple levels simultaneously, such as parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies -- or reagents and batches.

The Date Range selector has been updated to improve ease-of-use, including adding quick shortcuts to select common date ranges.
The Live Data checkbox has been replaced with a simple two-option drop-down list. The options are:
- Absolute Range
- Relative Range
Absolute Range: This option lets you select a date range by clicking within the calendar interface, or by typing dates and times manually. Charts saved with Absolute Range do not automatically update. After making your selection, click Apply.
Relative Range: This options hides the calendar interface and opens the Relative Range selector. You can enter any number and unit of time, as well as access a list of shortcuts. Charts saved with Relative Range update automatically in real-time as new data arrives and is modeled in the Sight Machine platform. After making your selection, click Apply.
NOTE: In both Absolute Range and Relative Range modes, you can still select a Time Zone and a Time Selection (either Production or Calendar).
AI Data Pipeline: Multi-PartType Modeling
Part Types in the Sight Machine platform provide a powerful approach to modeling operational digital twins. You can monitor and analyze the performance of individual assets, as well as a sequence of processes, allowing for analysis at the part or batch level.
Although Sight Machine has supported Part Type modeling for some time, it was limited to at most one Part Type per Machine Type. Now, a given Machine Type can contribute data to multiple Part Types, enabling you to model traceability at multiple levels simultaneously, such as parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies -- or reagents and batches.
To use this new feature, ensure that your data streams contain a separate Serial for each level of traceability that you want to track. Navigate to the AI Data Pipeline, select Part Types, and then create a new Part Type. The interface now allows you to select Machine Types that are already in use with other Part Types, and identify new Serial fields for your new Part Type.
