New Notepad Widget

To add a Notepad widget, in a dashboard, click Options > Create New Widget > Notepad.

The Notepad widget only has one sidebar parameter for custom text. Type your copy and save it for reference in your dashboard.

Dashboard Text Formatting

You can improve dashboard readability with direct control over Single Value Widgets displayed as big text and Notepad widgets. Specify the font size, alignment, style, color, and number of decimals where applicable.

Cookbooks Enhancements

Automated recipe refreshes now detect new products. In addition, the following enhancements have been added:

Calculation Update

Recipe calculations have been updated for accuracy and to reduce the number of false alarms. In many cases, upper and lower limits have wider ranges. Contact your continuous improvement manager for additional details.

Time Filtering

Recipes can now be deployed with time-based filtering to remove time periods from recipe calculation.

NOTE: The run setting Compute deployed recipe based on time selection will be deprecated in the upcoming release. As a best practice, move the selection to a time filter.

To create a time-based filter, select the Filters section in the recipe draft. After you select the Time option, you can specify multiple relative time periods that you want to remove from recipe calculations. Recipes continue to update automatically but remove the selected time periods.

Time-based filters remove individual records that meet the selected criteria. If a run contains records that have been removed, you see an indication on the record count column of the run table.

Operator Co-Pilot: Tag Inspector Improvements

The Operator Co-Pilot’s tag inspector now contains visual indications of the recipe-calculated recommended value and upper and lower limits. Recipe recommendations are also visible in the Explore in SPC workflow.
