CIL (Clean-Inspect-Lubricate)

The CIL application in Factory Operate enables equipment owners and operators to create Clean, Inspect, Lubricate, or CIL reports digitally, as they perform routine equipment checks.

You can easily document the completion of each task and also indicate if you found any defects found during your inspections. The CIL application streamlines the CIL process, improving equipment maintenance and contributing to a safer and more productive work environment.

CIL Reports

The CIL main page provides a list of CIL reports along with information such as the Operator and Machine, the time at which the report was initiated, and the % completion status of the report.

To create a new CIL report, click on Start New.  Now, enter the operator's name, and click on Begin.

You can now view all the CIL tasks for the selected machine presented in a convenient checklist format.  Reference images for the filler's subsections are provided at the top.

To perform your CIL tasks, you can either click on each subsection to see the tasks for that specific subsection, or you can simply scroll through the list below and complete each task one by one.

For each task, you can indicate a Completed status of Yes or No, and a Defect Found status of Yes or No.  You can also add free- text comments, for example to indicate why you could not complete a certain task or to add details regarding the equipment and any defects found.

CIL Detail View

Click on the row to see more details such as the instructions for your CIL task, as well as high resolution images of the subsection and the individual equipment component. This could be "Yes" if you've completed the task successfully or "No" if you have not.  You can also indicate whether you found a defect in the equipment during your check.
