The CIL application in OPERATE enables equipment owners and operators to digitize Clean, Inspect, and Lubricate (CIL) reports during routine equipment checks. Task completion is easily documented, with the added capability to flag any defects identified during inspections. By streamlining the CIL process, this application improves equipment maintenance and contributes to a safer, more productive work environment.
CIL Reports
The CIL main page displays a comprehensive list of reports, including details such as the assigned Operator and Machine, the report initiation time, and the current completion percentage.
To initiate a new CIL report, select Start New, input the operator's name, and click Begin.

To perform CIL tasks, individual subsections may be selected to view specific requirements, or the complete list may be navigated sequentially.
For each task, Completed (Yes/No) and Defect Found (Yes/No) statuses are assigned. Additionally, the Comments field allows for the entry of free-text details, such as justifications for incomplete tasks or specific observations regarding equipment condition and identified defects.
CIL Detail View
Selecting a row reveals comprehensive details, including specific CIL task instructions and high-resolution imagery of the equipment subsection and individual components. Task completion is documented by selecting "Yes" for successful execution or "No" if the task remains incomplete. Furthermore, the presence of any equipment defects identified during the inspection can be formally indicated.
