The Line Layout application offers a comprehensive digital representation of your production line, accurately mapping the physical arrangement of equipment and the sequential process flow of your operations. This visual framework serves as a central hub for monitoring and managing factory activity.

  • Adjust the size of Machine Baseball Cards within the OPERATE interface to align with your personal viewing preferences.

  • This flexibility allows the tailoring of workspace layout, enhancing visibility of critical data points and improving overall workflow efficiency.

Monitor Process Disruptions

Monitor key process disruptions in real-time, including line stops, machine status, and downtime reasons. The equipment layout and process is represented along with relevant data such as fault code and fault code description when a certain machine is down and is highlighted by RED.

See when a machine is blocked or starved. This functionality enhances operational responsiveness by providing immediate visibility into ongoing issues, enabling faster resolution and minimizing downtime.

Navigate to the upper-right corner of the interface and select the 3D View icon to switch the perspective to the 3D Line Layout.

Displayed below is the 3D visualization of the production line.

Assess Impact of Equipment Failures

Quickly assess the impact of equipment failures across upstream and downstream processes without the need to physically inspect the production line or communicate with other operators. This feature improves efficiency by providing a centralized view of system performance, reducing the time spent on manual checks.

Selecting a machine on the layout highlights the machine card that consists of machine-specific data such as its current speed, average speed, fault code description if the machine is in a fault state, and other key process variable values.

Good to Know: Machine Type Configuration

  • Automated Updates: Machine configurations now update automatically upon any change to the machine type.

  • Error Reduction: This automation eliminates discrepancies and errors previously caused by outdated machine type information.

  • Data Integrity: Accurate data retrieval is ensured across all machine operations.
